Simply in love with Empire Shopping Gallery

Local radio stations have been playing a pretty catchy jingle of late, one that is full of warmth, sprinkled with a touch of magic and beams with lots of sunshine from every angle. It announces the arrival of Empire Shopping Gallery at Subang Jaya.

Having seen the mall came into birth from the time it was merely a raw concrete structure to what it is now – glorious, stylish, sunny, friendly, beautiful, complete with all the brands I love, I must say this is the final piece of puzzle Subang Jaya needs to give this neighbourhood the ultimate polish in glitz and glamour it deserves.

With just about every heavenly F&B options available within the mall from The Loaf, Italiannies, Chilis, Rakuzen, Pasta Zanmai, Madam Kwan, Sao Nam etc., me and the thousands who work or stay in Subang Jaya are truly spoilt for choice by ESG!

My top pick from ESG has to be Belanga and Serai whenever I need to get my delectable Ayam Percik and Nasi Kerabu fixes quickly.

For sensational indulgence in sweets, I love, love, love Whisk for its Carrot cake as well as Chocolate cake! This quaint and charming outlet is tucked away at the far end near Jaya Grocer. Cakes so super delicious, please enter at your own risk- more addictions to come! When I was a pregger, I had to have my Suchan’s Banoffie pie every month to put a smile back into the jaded face of mine then, am definitely counting the days to their opening at ESG.

Grand Imperial Restaurant in BSC where my dear sister held her big day has opened its cafe called Grand Imperial Kitchen, which serves delightful oriental rice and noodle dishes oh so wonderfully.

Food aside, I feel blessed that Tangs is coming to town in ESG! Because I can never get enough of its Pink Martina and all the other private brands under Tangs are so within reach now (at least physically, whether I still have the budget to shop is entirely Daddy Joe’s jurisdiction.

The two very happy little people on earth are happy that Toys R Us and Popular are in there too, that they are waaay too happy to pick up mummy from work whenever Daddy Joe invites them along. Suddenly the falling in love with a beautiful and happening mall as such just seem feverish even within the two very happy little people. Not surprising if ESG’s jinggle will serve as one of their favorite lullabies for years to come.
